Sunday Link Love v6

Category: Weekly Wrap Ups
2 Comments

Today is the sixth session of my Sunday Link Love and it will be a short one. It’s a little shorter because it was another big wedding weekend where one of my old college roommates got married but finally it was the last one of the summer (this makes 4 for me!).

AskShane kicks this session off with a post about How to Rank Well in Yahoo. I like this conspiracy theory idea (and I use that term loosely) that Yahoo rankings are often times pre determined by paid search. I think it’s certainly possible. What do you think?

Another post comes from SuiteJ who writes about how to use Google Analytics to find hidden gems in keywords. This post reminded me to write a post about How to Improve your Website in the Eyes of Google. So if you haven’t read that one yet be sure to check it out.

This next post comes from Mr Javo who created a list of RSS directories and feed channels. I haven’t tried this yet, but it looks like another nice method for getting more people to read your content.

Lastly, Steven posed the question “Is self submission really that bad?” He is of course referring to submitting your own content to social networks. What do you think? I was the first to comment on his post so if you care to see my opinion or join in on the discussion head on over to the post.

Alright, going forward for this week I have a few really interesting posts lined up. I’m most excited about the post I’ve written about Stumble Upon, so if you haven’t subscribed to my RSS feed please do so now. I will be publishing the post sometime this week.

Hey man nice links, I specially liked the first one, it’s a good resource… By the way, thanks for linking me!

What’s up Chris? Thanks forr the link luv. I’m curious about the self-submission article, and going to check it out (as well as the others).

I submit my articles, but I’ve read quite a few resources that suggest to submit a ratio of about 10% of your own stuff, and 90% other stuff.

How about you? What do you think about it?

    Cheers!
    Jay
